Versatile Waiter</span></h4> <p>Dumbwaiter is a versatile product for vertical transportation of goods used in libraries, records rooms, stores, hospitals, laboratories and restaurants etc. It is an efficient and sophisticated way of transporting goods between different levels.</p> <p>Bramalea Elevator Ltd. provides dumbwaiters to suit the specific requirements of any of the applications mentioned above. We have solutions for further complex industrial or institutional applications involving dust proof, flameproof and explosion proof installations.</p> <p class="fromDescription2">Some possible options for dumbwaiter, but not limited to, are mentioned below: </p> <ul> <li>Steel or stainless finish for car, car gate and landing doors</li> <li>Choice of bi-parting, slide up and swing doors</li> <li>Inline, through and right angle openings for the doors</li> <li>Installation in masonry block, drywall or freestanding expanded metal hoistway shaft</li> <li>Floor or counter height loading</li> <li>Different fixtures and signals</li> <li>Machine below or machine above arrangements</li> <li>Conventional drum machine and traction machine for high-rise dumbwaiters</li> </ul> <p>Elevator codes restrict the use of dumbwaiter to a maximum cab size area of one-meter square. Load carrying capacity of a dumbwaiter is limited to 225 Kg or 500 lb. In line with intent of elevator codes Bramalea Elevator Ltd. provide dumbwaiters with a load carrying range of 90 Kg to 225 Kg (100 lb to 500 lb) with maximum cab size of 1000 mm x 1000 mm (38" x 38").</p> <p>For projects requiring load capacity more than 225 Kg (500 lb), we recommend upgrading to material lift.
